Your new role
You will be responsible for tracking and responding to all new Financial Services industry regulatory changes that impact the business along with ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Policies and Policy Standards. Areas of regulation include, but aren't limited to; FCA, PRA, HMRC, MLRO, GDPR etc...

As a senior member of this large organisational team you will undertake interpretation of new regulatory updates from the regulators and lead the incorporation of updated regulatory requirements into baselined Rule Books/Business Designs. You will develop the traceability approach, methods & tools between regulation, requirements & solution, demonstrating ongoing compliance to the regulator, auditors & business.

You will interact with senior stakeholders at all levels of the business in this influential position, shaping business policy & decisions.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in documentation and interpretation of US and European regulatory requirements and documentation/design of business controls to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Experience of developing business friendly regulation summaries for numerous audiences
  • Experience of developing traceability between regulations, interpretations, requirements, solutions and proving reverse traceability (if appropriate)
  • Experience of developing executive level strategic options and recommendations
