Your new role
A vital, senior role within the business, the Compliance Officer is a broad-based Corporate Compliance role working across ISO standards, GDPR, Anti Bribery & Corruption,Intellectual Property, Competition and potentially some contractual review.
You will work across all business functions to provide compliance advice and ensure implementation of legal and regulatory requirements.
Managing one team member
Managing ISO audits
Updating, policies including privacy, data protection, data security and anti-bribery
Implementing training to ensure that all staff are aware of policies
GDPR- Risk management and embedding processes
Reviewing commercial terms and other legal documentation
Advising the business on legal and regulatory requirements for projects, concepts and ideas
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have a formal qualifications in a compliance related field such as data protection, information security or auditing e.g. ISEB in DP/Data Practitioner; IIA, CIA, CISSP, CISA or similar.
This is not a legal role it is a broad-based compliance officer position and required experience across the range of compliance requirements including data protection, ISO Audit, Anti Bribery & Corruption, Competition and Risk Management and Advice to Board.
You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
