Financial Regulation Manager

My client, a Global Brokerage is recruiting for a Financial Regulation Manager role based in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have been in a similar position or possibly a Regulatory Reporting/Finance Manager/Controller role. They will be 'doer's and be able to stand on their own two feet, especially in front of the CSSF. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepared periodic returns for the CSSF and completed regulatory requirements for the company
• Worked with CSSF requirement for Client funds
• Prepared COREP returns from start to finish

Experience/Qualifications:

• University degree.
• Accounting qualification a strong plus.
• Strong knowledge of the CRR and related prudential rules, including working from multiple sources to prepare COREP returns.
• Good working knowledge of IFPRU, including prior experience of policy documentation preparation and review, together with preparing prudential returns for the FCA.
• Ability to work under pressure, if necessary, under deadline-driven conditions.
• Must be a driven self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills, as this role requires both global interaction and independent work.
• Good understanding of technology and automation is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English and proficient in the use of MS Office applications.
