Kind Consultancy is working with a large, well-established Financial Services organisation which is currently seeking a Compliance Officer with a focus on Lending to join their Manchester office.
The Compliance Office position centres on providing technical guidance and advice to the business in relation to policies, procedures, and training within their Lending division, always looking to ensure appropriate customer outcomes. Key responsibilities of the position will include:
* Ensuring a focus on appropriate customer outcomes is embedded in all Lending processes through controlled sign off of company policies, procedures, and letters
* Providing ongoing advice to colleagues on regulatory requirements
* Communicate at a senior level, both internally and externally, the relationship between and impact of regulations, rules, and guidance
* Support operational and regulatory projects, acting as a Compliance subject matter expert to ensure regulatory requirements are met and risks to the business are mitigated
* Maintaining and updating Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures in line with regulatory changes and/or client requirements
Our ideal candidate for the Compliance Officer opportunity:
* Must be CeMAP/MAQ qualified, with detailed knowledge of FCA rules and guidance including MCOB, CONC, DISP, DPA and CCA
* Is risk-aware, customer-focused, bold, supportive and results-driven
* Has in-depth knowledge of lending products
* Has three or more years of experience working in a Financial Services regulatory environment
* Is able to review and interpret regulatory, internal and industry standards
* Has experience of analysing regulatory requirements against client demands to ensure compliance
* Is able to interpret complex information, always maintaining strong attention-to-detail
