Group Systems, Compliance & Auditing Manager (HSEQ) | Tilbury | GBP50,000 to GBP55,000 plus benefits

Irwin & Colton have been engaged by a major civil engineering & RC Frame contractor to recruit a Group Systems, Compliance & Auditing Manager (HSEQ). The company are one of the highest profile contractors in the UK and are involved in the construction of the UK's most renowned developments. This is a newly created role, working closely with the Head of Health & Safety.

Responsibilities of the Group Systems, Compliance & Auditing Manager (HSEQ) will include:

• Leading on all aspects of the business management systems including 14001, 45001, 9001
• Assessing the integrated management system, conducting a review of current systems and processes and creating an action plan for improvement
• Maintain an internal audit schedule for the organisation and respective business units
• Engaging with management across the organisation, ensuring that the requirements of the management systems are being applied

The Group Systems, Compliance & Auditing Manager (HSEQ) will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally from within the construction, rail, civil engineering, demolition or a related industry
• A strong technical knowledge across management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001)

• Proven track record of creating action plans to attain objectives and effectively implement the formulated corrective and preventive actions.
• Ideally a lead auditor qualification would be highly advantageous.
