Compliance Manager - Financial Services
Established in 2002, Merchant Rentals Ltd provides tailor-made asset finance solutions for the merchant acquiring industry, managing a customer case of over 50,000 UK customers.
A key part of our next stage is to ensure that our operating procedures reflect our ethical, customer centric values and meet all regulatory requirements.
That's where you come in. A knowledgeable compliance professional with a strong FCA background, you will primarily take the lead on a remediation project plan, review our regulatory framework, undertake gap analysis, identify risk, implement internal controls and internal auditing. Both strategic and hands on, you will be our subject matter expert on FCA (CONC) and must have experience of working in consumer credit and consumer hire.
As well as leading on project management initiatives, you will have the credibility to foster a collaborative compliance culture across the business. You will coach and develop the internal teams to maintain the excellent standards you have set when your contract ends.
Whilst we are offering a fixed term contract of 3 months, there may be the possibility of a contract extension.

Job type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract (3 months)
Salary: circa GBP40,000 to GBP50,000 per annum, plus competitive benefits package
