A new opportunity has arisen for a growing Financial services Business in the Chorley area. Due to the growth and success of the business they are looking to recruit a Compliance and Risk Manager.
The role of the Compliance Manager is to assist the Head of Compliance in the successful delivery of the firm's internal compliance and oversight program through routine monitoring of their retail partners and internal processes, whilst also providing compliance guidance and support to their retailer network.
Principal Responsibilities
* Conduct risk based assessments of new business files and make recommendations to the board
* Conduct both field based and desktop reviews of retail partners
* Assess the compliance arrangements of retail partners on an ongoing basis by reviewing websites, policies, processes & marketing materials and providing feedback with recommendations
* Produce regular reports and MI for key stakeholders
* Play a key role in the identification, mitigation and ongoing management of risk
* Conduct Quality Assurance assessments of the company's Business Development Team on an ongoing basis
* Provide guidance on regulatory matters to the business and its retail partners
* Support retail partners and lenders in the timely resolution of complaints
Prior experience working in Risk or Compliance in a Financial Services business is a must for this opportunity.
