We're working with a progressive multi-site business based on the outskirts of Huntingdon for a Compliance and Controls Manager on a 16-month contract.
The role will require a technically astute qualified accountant to support the service centre and collaborating with the FP&A team.
You will be tasked with statutory reporting, IFRS legislation changes/ reporting while managing a small team ensuring monthly financials are reported in a timely manner. You'll take a holistic approach at ways to improve the current procedures, ensuring all relevant colleagues are consulted gaining support from the wider business as you go.
This is an opportunity to be part of a faced paced environment and join a team that is well set up to support the wider business with ideas on improvements welcomed.
You'll be a qualified accountant who has experience in financial reporting and controls. Ideally from an FMCG background you'll understand the variety and ever-changing landscape within this sector however other sectors will be considered.
