An exciting new Compliance role has arisen within a hugely successful IFA practice based in Colchester and Ipswich. Salary IRO GBP50k + benefits.

The role will involve supporting a business of circa 30 IFA and supporting staff and will require you to carry out a SMF16 function.

You will take a lead role in the development and maintenance of a robust Compliance frameworks across the business on two sites (Colchester & Ipswich) in line with current and changing requirements from the FCA with the support of a 3rd party compliance support firm, currently Threesixty.

You will also be responsible for delivering a compliant advisory & DFM service to all stakeholders within the business when it comes to all manner of Compliance issues (monitoring and reporting, supervision of 10 advisers etc.), as well as having a significant voice when it comes to planning for future growth and strategic plans.

To be successful with your application, it is essential that you have experience of working in a similar Compliance advisory role within the IFA/Investment Management or Wealth/Asset Management world, including competency in DFM compliance regulation.

You should be highly-competent when it comes to understanding FCA policies, and you will be Financial Services Diploma qualified as a minimum.
