Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working exclusively with one of Barnsley's leading employers to recruit a Senior Compliance Analyst.
In this role you will be responsible for compliance matters across Europe. You will be focusing on SOX and working with the US Internal Audit team to coordinate testing, and working with local teams to resolve control deficiencies and documenting and strengthening controls and procedures where appropriate.
Responsibilities will include:
- Direct the SOX program across Europe and collaborate with the business functions to ensure all control requirements are achieved
- Coordinate and administer a self-testing SOX program for Europe
- Maintain GDPR compliance objectives
- Stewardship of process and control documentation for Procure to Pay, Order To Cash, Close The Books & Inventory
- Lead projects and coordinate with the departments involved
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in deploying new technologies to ensure successful implementations
Key Skills / qualifications:
- ACA / ACCA qualified Accountant
- Strong internal controls experience
- SOX experience preferable (not essential)
- Ideal role for a first move from practice
- Excellent communication and presentation skill
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
