A Global Blue Chip Media organisation (Healthcare & Life Sciences) based in Central London requires a GRC - Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager, possessing strong Enterprise Risk Management experience to work in a specialised GRC - Governance, Risk and Compliance team reporting to the CRO / CCO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the CRO / CCO in managing the day-to-day operation of Risk Management processes (including the Compliance Program).
  • Monitoring local and divisional risk assessment processes – including implementation and effectiveness of controls.
  • Contributing to regular group communications and training (including the design and content of e-learning).
  • Monitoring the performance and effectiveness of the Group Compliance Program on a continual basis.
  • Contributing to regular group communications and training (including the design and content of e-learning).
  • Monitoring the performance and effectiveness of the Group Compliance Program on a continual basis.
  • Identifying potential areas of vulnerability and risk; developing/implementing corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and providing general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
  • Assisting in the preparation of management reports on a regular basis.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong risk management and enterprise risk experience ideally from a Big 4 practice background.
  • Demonstratable experience in internal or external risk management, risk register and risk framework.
  • Proven experience rolling out training strategies relating to risk and compliance practices, such as e-learning programs.
  • Ability to generate and deliver concise, timely reports to stakeholders, including those in senior positions.
  • Utilise analytical skills to identify trends and themes regarding ethics & compliance risks from a wide variety of data sources and action necessary to address these.
  • Ability to anticipate issues and opportunities and respond with appropriate, risk-aware and cost-driven solutions.
  • Structured problem solver - able to logically break down complex and ambiguous problems into component parts and recommend pragmatic solutions.
