Get Staff Recruitment are working with one of the South's most prominent independent brokerages, who are looking to add a Risk & Compliance Officer to join their team.

Duties to be performed in the role will include:

* Assisting in the preparation of Management Information (MI) reports

* Investigating customer complaints and drafting appropriate responses

* Keeping up to date with regulatory developments

* Assisting the Risk & Compliance Manager in implementing various policies and procedures to ensure that business activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards

* Advising senior management in a timely manner about FCA related issues and other regulatory issues and any changes to FCA regulations

* Administration of the risk and compliance training programme, including the assigned mandatory online training and the subsequent tracking of completion

* Supporting the firm's senior leadership team with ad hoc tasks as required

* Conducting compliance monitoring reviews, ensuring the firm's activities comply at all time with its procedures and FCA requirements
