About Property Hub

We’re a fast growing, dynamic group of property related businesses – spanning property sourcing and property management – providing education, information and support to both aspiring and experienced property investors.

We’ve got a solid foundation to build on.  Our podcast has over 300,000 monthly listeners and has cemented itself as the UK’s most popular business podcast.  There are also over 70,000 active members on our online community, we publish a bi-monthly magazine and we’ve written the UK’s leading property investment books.

In March this year, we expanded our business portfolio and entered the fascinating world of fund management with the launch of our Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT).

As you can probably tell, whilst the world comes to terms with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are looking to the future and driving forward with our growth plans.  To achieve these, we need a professional and experienced Compliance Manager to come into the business and set up, monitor and deliver proactive and professional compliance advice and services.

About the Role

As part of our operational management team, you will be responsible for ensuring policies, procedures and internal guidance documents are created, managed and maintained across the whole compliance remit – including FCA regulation, AML/CTF, Social Responsibility, ISMS, GDPR, Advertising Standards and PCI DSS.

A timetable of regular audits and assessments will need to be created to ensure the business is compliant with relevant codes and legislation, and to highlight any areas for improvement.  To achieve this, you will need to work closely with the wider management team and ensure you engage and support internal stakeholders on any issues around regulation and compliance.

About You

You will have at least 3 years’ experience in a Fintech compliance environment and will have a sound knowledge and understanding of:

  • FCA standards
  • AML regulations
  • GDPR and reporting duties

Commercial understanding and a fascination with technology and the potential technology has for optimising procedures for both employees and customers are essential attributes.  Experience using new technologies and an open mind towards innovative solutions is imperative; we are a digitally focused company so online management platforms, database, and automated KYC and AML checks are key development areas.

You will be a confident, clear and open communicator – with the ability to work autonomously and in a high-pressured environment.  Naturally, you will maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion and will enjoy thinking outside of the box to find solutions and resolve problems.

Above all, you embody our core values:

// DREAM TEAM

// BIG HEARTED

// CHOOSE POSITIVITY

// DREAM IT DO IT

// KEEPING IT REAL

In Return

We are passionate about open and honest communication, and are upfront about our reward package:

  • Starting salary up to £65k (dependant on experience)
  • Private healthcare
  • 27 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
  • Pension provided by the People’s Pension
  • Annual holiday flex scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • 2 charity days per year and an annual contribution to a charity of your choice
  • City-centre office at the heart of Piccadilly, 3 minutes’ walk from the train station
  • Lively working environment, with regular social events
  • Company culture that values involvement, contribution and sharing

Company

Several years ago, we decided to demystify property investment.

Other property educators were charging an arm and a leg for making property seem more complicated than it really is. We wanted to do the opposite: provide free information, without overcomplicating matters for the sake of it.

So we started The Property Podcast to help people understand what property can do for them.

Fast forward to today, The Property Podcast is downloaded over 300,000 times every single month, our YouTube channel is over 10,000 subscribers strong and our in-house magazine has an ever-growing readership.

Our total online community is now over 70,000 and we’ve built a range of services spanning investment, lettings and tax to help thousands of people change their lives through investing in property.
