Internal Audit & Compliance Manager

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are recruiting an Internal Audit & Compliance Manager for a global law firm located in central London.

The firm has offices through the world and has a TO approaching £3b.

This is a highly attractive opportunity to be part of a greenfield project developing and embedding internal audit throughout the organisation. Following continual growth, the need for a robust internal audit function has been recognised and will begin by the hiring of an Internal Audit & Compliance Manager, initially reporting into the Risk & Compliance Director with plans to hire an experienced Head of Internal Audit in due course.

No international travel is required until May, thereafter some will be required but details are TBC as this is a new team with no precedent pre-Covid to draw on.

I’m looking for a qualified internal audit professional (ACA/ACCA/CIA) with a strong background in risk-based internal audit (ideally 5+ years IA experience). This is very much a ‘hands-on’ role with no line management. No legal sector exposure is required. Candidates coming straight from a Big 4 team doing outsourced/co-sourced IA work will certainly be considered.
