Internal Auditor - SOX Compliance

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are EXCLUSIVELY recruiting an ambitious part-qualified/recently qualified accountant to join a NYSE Entertainment Group as an Internal Auditor. This is a brilliant opportunity to join an impressive team and unique business!

Role Summary:

This role is arguably best suited to an external auditor from a recognised Practice firm who is targeting a first role in industry. You will be joining a firmly established team of impressive internal audit practitioners who will support you with the transition to Internal Audit.

You will be responsible for engaging with a broad spectrum of stakeholders across multiple business units to perform financial, operational and compliance audits of functions and processes to ensure integrity of controls. Other aspects of the role include drafting results, key findings and recommendations for improvement.

The role has become available due to team expansion, this is a period of growth for the team and indeed the entire business with exciting times ahead!

This is predominantly a controls testing role initially with likely progression to a more varied and expansive role after 18 months for a high performer.

The role is based in West London and with a healthy mix of office and WFH. An expectation is for 2 days to be spent in the office. Although an international business, the team is spread out across global locations. As such, this is a minimal travel role with very occasional trips to the US expected in due course.

Profile:

Essential:

• ACA or ACCA or CIA part/recently qualified
• Big 4/Top 10 audit experience
• Ambitious, driven and high performer; wants to progress in a global business
• First class communication skills – impactful, assertive, likeable

Desirable:

• Demonstrable Audit/Internal Controls/SOX experience
• SAP exposure
• Strong IT skills

Package:

Base salary of £45 - £55k, private health, 25 days AL, matched pension
