DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

We give you a world of potential

Computershare have a fantastic opportunity to join our Global Audit team as a Internal Auditor based in our Bristol, Edinburgh or Skipton offices. We also have an additional position of an Internal Auditor which again can be based at our Bristol, Edinburgh or Skipton offices.

We are completely flexible on remote working, so if you aren’t looking to be based full-time in an office, we’ve got you covered. Of course, there will be times that you will need to visit our offices for team or stakeholder meetings, therefore being within a relative commutable distance is needed.

If you’re an Internal Audit professional looking for a role that gives you variety, and the opportunity to work with stakeholders across the globe, then this could be just the role you’ve been waiting for.

Our Audit department is full of talented individuals with great experience within our business, which means that we are open to applications from Internal Auditors with different levels of experience, or people who have worked in Compliance or Risk and are looking to make that move into Internal Audit.

We have an extremely supportive team, and a management team who are invested in their people’s careers. You will be encouraged to continue to develop and grow within Computershare and we’ll give you the tools and encouragement to make that happen!

A role you will love

As one of our Internal Auditors, you will be primarily responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on operational, financial, and regulatory audits alongside the annual audit plan.

As we said above, this role provides a lot of variety, and you will get the chance to work on internal audit assignments across the whole of the Computershare group.

You will be delivering high-quality, well controlled, independent, and objective audit execution, supported by comprehensive audit files.

In this role you will be working with senior stakeholders from across the business, giving you the chance to build great working relationships and build your knowledge of the different departments in our organisation.

Other key responsibilities:

  • Risk-based Audit Planning that is focussed on protecting and enhancing the value of the businesses Computershare and our clients.
  • Effective Audit Program Management to ensure the timely delivery of audit plans and mitigation of delivery obstacles.
  • Manage compliance with Computershare’s (CPU) global policies, procedures and processes, including CPU Internal Audit methodology.

What will you bring to the role?

You will be a collaborative individual with great attention to detail. Building relationships with a variety of stakeholders will be an important part of this role, so you will have the ability to build effective working relationships with people in a variety of departments. The ability to gather and analyse data will be a skill of yours, with the ability to present this in an easily understandable way.

Some other key skills that you’ll have:

  • Experience within an Internal Audit role or extensive experience within a Compliance or Risk function
  • Working knowledge of risk management principles and processes
  • Financial services experience is highly advantageous
  • A professional audit, accounting or business qualification is also highly advantageous

If this role sounds like what you’re looking for, and you want to be part of an organisation that focuses on our employees’ career progression, while working on interesting and varied work, be sure to apply today!

We carefully limit the amount of people at our locations and ensure that those who cannot work remotely are kept safe with proper distancing and protective equipment.

In most circumstances we are currently performing all interviews, assessments, and background checks online to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Should you be successful in securing a role and it can be performed from home, we will arrange for equipment to be sent to you and your onboarding and training will be provided remotely.
