Risk & Insurance Manager

Astrum Search is delighted to be partnering with an instantly recognisable online fashion retail business to recruit a new Risk & Insurance Manager. 

Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager, this is a broad role that is part of the wider Business Assurance & Resilience team. You will be involved in all aspects of risk management, business continuity/resilience and insurance, but will take a lead role in managing the Group's insurance programme. 

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the Group's insurance renewal process
• Act as the key point of contact for insurance queries and claims
• Support the wider team on functional risk reviews
• Provide support to help evolve the risk function, including reviewing and updating policies and delivering training/ workshops
• Work with the Director of Internal Audit to evolve the crisis management framework
• Conduct Business Impact Assessments over core processes to help formulate crisis management plans. 

Skills & Experience: 

• A strong technical understanding of the insurance industry is highly desirable
• Experience of managing insurance renewals process 
• Hands-on enterprise risk management and business continuity experience 
• A clear and concise communicator, with excellent relationship building skills
• E-commerce or retail experience preferred
