Our Client is a leading gaming sector business who are enjoying continued growth and expansion across a number of departments. They are now seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join an established team and play a leading role.
Role Profile
* Advise Senior Management on changes in regulation across all licenced jurisdictions
* Act as the Compliance point of contact on projects such as new licence applications
* Develop and manage the businesses internal compliance monitoring framework
* Work with Acquisition and Marketing Teams to ensure advertising compliance
* Management of internal outreach of reportable events
* Management of regulatory administration
* Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and assisting with the internal implementation and action plans
* Assist in drafting of policies and procedures
* Regular review of policies and procedures to ensure they remain up to date
* Collect data for internal reports and external regulatory reporting
* Assist with external audits
* Perform compliance reviews (e.g. websites, landing pages, banners, promotions terms and conditions, email templates) to ensure compliance with all applicable legislative requirements
* Maintain and update relevant registers
* Investigate and report on complaints
* Cover managerial duties in the absence of the department head
* Act as the principle point of contact for regulator queries from the operational side of the business
Person Profile
* Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role
* Interpretation and application of gaming legislation and relevant industry standards
* Sound interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Interpretation of legislative and professional standards
* Ability to analyse and strong organisational skills
* Experience working in a regulatory compliance role
* Governance and compliance philosophies, policy and management practices
* Advertising Standards Authority's (ASA) code, AML and CFT related legislation.
* Project management experience / knowledge, Innovative and strategic thinking
* Well-developed presentation and communication skills
* MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Desirable:
* E-gaming experience would be a distinct advantage
* Hold a recognised AML or compliance qualification or willing to work towards (i.e., ICA)
* Ideally working knowledge of Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, United Kingdom Gambling Commission's and Jersey Gambling Commission legislation
