Multinational manufacturing business is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to to be based in their Swiss HQ. They are seeking a Manager with strong experience in both audit ( external or internal) and finance/ accounting - someone who understands and appreciates the global finance and accounting issues that face a large multinational. The role itself is a Manager level but has no direct team and covers the whole spectrum of finance and process audits.
The business has grown rapidly through acquisitions and organic growth. Becoming a leading presence in what is a niche manufacturing sector, revenues have grown to over 5 billion swiss francs billion and the acquisitions have helped diversify the business.
An Audit Manager is required to bring financial expertise and leadership to the team. With a need to balance the skill set within the team, someone from a finance or accounting department or an internal audit team with exposure to finance and accounting topics is required.
Key is a background in audit and finance, within a company who operates in the production sector, plus the ability to travel 30-40% globally. The opportunities after 2-3 years in audit are very strong and there is a track record of successful rotation into finance functions globally.
