A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Compliance & Risk Officer as an apprentice to work for a blue-chip organisation who offer a fantastic working environment. As the Compliance Risk & Risk Apprentice Officer you will be joining a warm and friendly existing team. This role is based in Uttoxeter and is commutable from Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Cheadle, Blythe Bridge and Stone.
Job Description:
Co-ordinating arrangements for audit and risk committee meetings.
Assisting in establishing internal risk control testing programmes.
Supporting and auditing the management team to ensure completion of monthly controls testing.
Providing Management Information to senior management and the board risk committee.
Conducting desk-based audit reviews, ensuring appropriate audit trails are in place.
Co-ordinating Risk Register reports. Person Specification:

Competent in this area of work (level 3 minimum)
Honesty, integrity, enthusiasm, hard working.
Team worker who is self-motivated.
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
Accurate, good attention to detail, organised.
Capable of achieving competent standards in all processes within the Business Services function after training. Training:
Level 3 Compliance Risk Officer Apprenticeship (18-24 months).
Includes an accredited International Compliance Association qualification (Certificate in Compliance, Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering, or Certificate in Financial Crime Prevention).
Blended learning and study method includes virtual learning & End Point Assessment based on a portfolio of work-based evidence and knowledge-based discussion. One day per week is allocated for mandatory study; usually on-site in their study area. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.45pm
Salary: GBP18,000 per annum
