We have two rare opportunities for Senior Product Managers at StepChange Debt Charity in Leeds. These will be new and pivotal roles in our Client Experience team, providing strategic product direction and integrated decision making at a senior level within the charity. We’re looking for people who can operate across a wide range of product related disciplines including user research, user experience design, service design, quality assurance and reporting.

Where you’ll work:

You’ll split your time between our Leeds office and home. Currently we ask all colleagues to work from the office for a minimum of 2 days a month.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing and developing your colleagues into a high-performing product management team
  • Reviewing, approving, and championing product initiatives within your team, ensuring that they meet agreed standards, are fully integrated, align to strategy and meet regulatory requirements
  • Operating on a strategic level, considering the full end-to-end service in decision making
  • Ensuring user research and data insight play a key role in the design, development and management of charity products and services
  • Maintaining and sponsoring the delivery of longer-term roadmaps for products and services
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments on audience understanding, key user needs and essential product features
  • Monitoring and ensuring the charity meets its regulatory obligations

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in managing high-performing product teams, ideally “product management” teams; or experience as an agile product owner
  • Specialist knowledge of managing products and services
  • Excellent technical awareness of telephone and digital channels
  • Knowledge of consumer journey and segmentation models
  • Experience of using performance/analytics tools, and constructing high-level business cases
  • Background in a fast-moving, customer-centric operation supporting cross-functional change to benefit the customer (ideally using “lean” principles)

Salary: circa £70,000
