My unique client based in Deal is currently enjoying a period of growth and increased business activity. They are currently looking to bring in a Compliance Co-ordinator to support the Compliance Director to ensure that the business and its employees comply with regulations and standards as set out by the Financial Conduct Authority.This role involves liaising with the Financial Advisors to ensure that they are adhering to the compliance standards of the companyThe Compliance Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring that the compliance information required by our company is kept up-to-date and recorded effectively.The day-to-day responsibilities include the following activities:

• Auditing our Financial Advisers to check that they are up to date with their Continued Professional Development requirements
• Distributing our internal procedures and assessments to the advisers and recording the outcomes
• Ensuring that all qualifications and assessments are completed as required
• Completing our internal systems with the relevant data
• Monitoring for any Data Protection Breaches
• Arranging 1:1 meetings with the Financial Advisers and producing supporting documentation for the Assistant Compliance Director
• Distribute and bespoke our monthly marketing material, electronically, to the Financial Advisers
• General administration and data inputting

The ideal candidate will have experience within the financial services sector and ideally studying towards the Financial Planning Certificate. Although not essential you will have the opportunity to work towards this opportunity.
